THE 5 BOOKS : that brought me back to life during my divorce season

I want to preface this list by saying the depression spiral I experienced during my divorce really threw me. I was so fine! Even excited to be on my own, reinvent myself, find new love and adventure, yada yada.

Well the universe had very different plans for me. While I did initially have a blast, it would turn out to be very short lived and quicker than I can remember, I was face down and a shell of myself.

I DID NOT SEE IT COMING.

What I would later discover (which I was so ridiculously resistant to) was that I was in deep grief over the end of my marriage of 16+ years. But no one died! So how was I in grief? The truth was, the death of a marriage is in fact a death and quite a rollercoaster.

So being the seeker I pride myself on being.. I sought solace in the wise and comforting words of these miraculous books, these beautiful authors will never know how much they helped bring me back to life..
